Nice to meet you
I use a psychodynamic, or “insight-oriented,” approach in therapy, helping clients explore connections between past and present to uncover unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. I am supportive, non-judgmental, and accepting so clients feel safe to speak freely and openly.
I listen actively, responding in ways that guide understanding, growth, and change. I also use an eclectic approach, tailoring my methods to each person’s needs—for example, being more directive when helping clients manage anxiety.
