Nice to meet you
Life can feel heavy, anxiety that won't quiet down, grief that lingers, relationships that keep hitting the same walls, or a sense that you're just going through the motions. If you've been waiting for the "right time" to get support, this might be it.
I'm Roxanne Garza, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I work with women navigating the kinds of things that make everyday life feel harder than it should. I work with a lot of people dealing with anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, life transitions, relationship conflict, postpartum struggles, infertility, ADHD, and the particular kind of exhaustion that comes with trying to be everything for everyone. If any of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
My style is warm and collaborative. I'll meet you where you are, and we'll work at your pace. I use approaches that are research-backed and actually work like Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention among others, but I'm always more focused on you than on any particular method. Therapy with me isn't just talking about your problems. It's figuring out what's getting in the way and building a real path forward.
Outside of my work, I'm a wife, a mom, and a dog mom who recharges on hikes and neighborhood walks with my family. I understand what it feels like to carry a lot and still try to show up, and that's a big part of why I do this work.
