Nice to meet you
Supporting someone with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or another serious mental health condition can be overwhelming. You may feel unsure what to expect, how to navigate the mental health system, or how to help while also caring for your own well-being. Drawing on 31 years of experience in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, I offer a supportive space for adults coping with the impact of a loved one’s mental health challenges. I also work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, and women’s issues. Together, we’ll make sense of difficult emotions, challenge unhelpful beliefs, build practical coping skills, and strengthen communication and self-confidence. My approach is respectful, validating, and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
