I help to alleviate many of the overwhelming feelings that clients have. In my career, I tend to lean on Cognitive Behavioral therapy as I find that it helps clients with symptom reduction. Additionally, the skills that are introduced to the clients help them to feel like they are gaining some control over their emotions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative therapy are some of the ones where I find people tend to make a lot of progress. Narrative therapy helps the clients to review their story and to rewrite their story, also getting to the acceptance piece of the things they are able to change or the ones that they cannot change. My clients have benefited from Mindfulness as well.
