Nice to meet you
Hey there, I'm Jon. As a therapist, I pride myself on building warm, supportive relationships with my clients. Trust and acceptance are an essential part of therapy. I listen non-judgmentally, respond thoughtfully, and behave like a real, genuine human being in our sessions. Some therapists try to be blank slates, but I've found the most helpful approach is the most authentic one. I speak with empathy and understanding, and even crack a few jokes here and there.
I earned my master's degree in social work in 2014. I've been a therapist for 10 years, working with adults and teens in individual therapy and group therapy settings.
