I have experience working with adults from various religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, gender and sexual identities, and across the socioeconomic spectrum. Seeking treatment can feel vulnerable. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment to empower clients as they confront and process issues creating challenges in their life. I work from a strength-based, person-centered approach to help clients develop skills to implement change and reach their goals. Though I utilize evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solutions-focused therapy, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect in treatment.
