I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with queer and trans youth and young adults, as well as people who have experienced attachment disruptions and developmental or sexual trauma. I hold hope and trust in people’s process and capacity for growth, especially when they may be struggling to do so themselves. I uplift connection to each of our inherent worth and sense of belonging while identifying bridges and barriers. I welcome seemingly contradictory truths and the practice of feeling emotions. I invite moving slowly and curiously—“as fast as our slowest parts,” as a teacher once told me—and have come to believe this can contribute to change more quickly.
