Education
Masters in Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Practicum Internship- Aids Project Los Angeles (LINKS Substance use program)
Registered Internship- Los Angeles Dept of Mental Health Juvenile Justice Program; Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Services LAC-DMH Full Service Partnership Program.
DBT Training- Over 20 hours of training received while working in Juvenile Justice Facility specializing in delivery of DBT to incarcerated youth. Participated in DBT Treatment Team serving Adults who met criteria for LA County DMH Full Service Partnership services. I conducted DBT individual/group therapy, weekly DBT Team consultation and received weekly DBT training for approximately 1.5 years through the Behavior Tech Online program paid for by Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services.
CBT- Training and certification received while working for Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. This was necessary to bill Med-cal. The CBT training was over 20 hours, in addition to 6 months of weekly consultation calls with a trainer. I was also required to record/submit sessions with clients and case conceptualizations
Brainspotting- Modality similar to EMDR. Completed Phase 1 certification in 2023.
My supporting documents for DBT and CBT training were lost during 2020 while working at St. Joseph's Center. During the pandemic while working from home my physical workspace was moved and some of my files were lost during that time. I have a great passion for DBT and CBT in addition to a lot of experience. I hope that I am able to meet your requirements so that I can continue working with clients attracted to these modalities, DBT especially. Also, I do have a signed letter from my immediate supervisors while working at St. Joseph Center attesting to the fact that I had files lost. I obtained this in the event that I am ever audited for CEU's by the BBS. I have attached this letter as well.
