My work is with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or adjustment to life changes. My name is Kimberly Higgins, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) based in Northern California working with adult clients statewide via telehealth. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing are my primary approaches to therapy. We’ll work together so that you can build a foundation to move toward wellness. My goal is to create a warm and neutral space for clients to talk about their experiences. We’ll navigate through life’s challenges creating awareness without judgment of things being right or wrong, good or bad. Through reflective listening, I’ll work with you to move toward your goals. If you aren’t ready to make changes, that is okay. We’ll start where you are to create space to move forward when you are ready.
