Nice to meet you
My top priority as your therapist is to create a safe space for you to heal. I provide warm, gentle, and open communication using reflective listening, empathy, and validation. My approach to therapy is integrative (pulling from different modalities to support clients individually), somatic-informed, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. The modalities I tend to use most are Somatic Experiencing (SE), relational/person-centered process-oriented therapy, Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
