High satisfaction rate with clients
Nice to meet you
I specialize in working with a range of issues, including trauma, ADHD, anxiety, LGBTQ+ concerns, depression, suicidality, bipolar disorder, OCD, and eating disorders. My therapeutic experience started when I was in graduate school, working with my first clients as my professor and class observed through a two-way mirror. After graduating, I worked with clients facing severe mental health issues in a hospitalization step-down unit for about a year. I then transitioned to community mental health, serving clients aged 0-65. During that time, I started a small private practice, focusing primarily on eating disorders, anxiety, teens, couples, OCD, and general life improvement. After leaving community mental health, I continued my small practice while working with a large healthcare provider, where I have been for 9 years. The diverse clientele and volume of clients I see daily help me grow my skill set with every issue in the DSM.
My approach as a therapist is simple: I meet my clients where they are so we can reach their goals collaboratively. I work for my clients and understand that we are all different; what works for some won't work for others. My job is to help people achieve the changes and goals they desire. To accomplish that, I collaborate with my clients to understand their goals, what contributes to their situation, and what skills or changes we need to create to achieve the desired outcomes.
