Clients report a lasting relationship
Nice to meet you
Are you at the point that you have tried everything you knew to do to feel better, and realized that it is time to seek help outside of your friend group? You are in the right place.
In the therapeutic process, you can learn to identify triggers and issues and learn to utilize strategies to shift your behavior patterns, experiences, and mood states. Life can be better, lighter, and clearer for you. In our work together, we create a safe therapeutic environment and foster a safe place for you to share and process your feelings, and concerns. We will work together to address your issues and the reasons you are seeking therapy at this time.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy fitting the theoretical perspective to meet the needs of the individual I am seeing. In other words, I use a broad range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Bereavement counseling, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have worked in the field of mental health specifically for over 21 years and more broadly, including working in the field of substance abuse treatment, for longer than that.
I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to work together.
